University Students’ Levels of Well-Being, Social Media Usage, Self-Control, and Insomnia in Turkey

This study aims to examine the relationship students’ social media use, insomnia, and self-control have with their psychological well-being. A total of 404 students (305 females, 99 males) participated in research. The data been collected using Turkish versions Social Media Disorder Scale, Psychological Well-Being Brief Self-Control Insomnia Severity Index. Relationships between variables were examined by Path Analysis. According results, created model shows significantly directly increase well-being, disorder insomnia decrease self-control. indirectly predict well-being through mediation findings show be affected self-control, disorder, insomnia. Promoting as well reducing problematic use can help improve university
